The Dormouse White Rabbit FPGA Mezzanine Card (FMC) provides tunable oscillators that are required to implement and operate a White Rabbit implementation. White Rabbit is an open-source FPGA based implementation of PTP v2.1 providing a sub nanosecond accuracy for the PTP v2.1 high-accuracy profile. This is suitable for implementing a time and frequency distribution network.

The Dormouse card provides capabilities to generate LF and RF reference clocks derived from a White Rabbit network. For these tasks a high performance OCXO (DOT050V), two programmable, tunable oscillators (SiT3521, Si549) and a flexible PLL (HMC7044) are available.

The Dormouse FMC mezzanine card requires a host board and is designed to be compatible with the ZU102, ZCU111 and other AMD evaluation boards. In addition to the clocking infrastructure, an SFP+ interface provides 1 GbE / White Rabbit connectivity, which enables boards that do not provide an SFP+ interface.
